Due to damages from Hurricane Nicole, the current status (11/18/22) of City Beach facilities is as follows:
Bahia Mar Beach Access: The dune crossover at Bahia Mar was destroyed and will be closed until further notice.
Conn Beach: Access to the beach is closed. Portions of the boardwalk will remain closed until we can safely restore the access points to the boardwalk. Repair work will begin week of November 28. Facilities will be opened once they are inspected and found to be safe.
Jaycee Beach: The north end of Jaycee Beach accessible from Jaycee Beach park will be open on Monday November 21.
Sexton Plaza: Access to the beach is open.
Humiston Beach: Access to the beach is closed until further notice. The Humiston Boardwalk is no longer safe and has been posted with “no trespassing” signage.
South Beach Park: South Beach is open.
We will continue to inspect our beach facilities and will reopen beach access points once conditions are safe for the public.
