The Tree and Beautification Commission, in conjunction with the City of Vero Beach, offers a wonderful way to commemorate a birth, a deceased family member, celebrate a milestone birthday, or for any other reason one may choose, to show honor and recognition.
Location
Some of the trees which have been dedicated are located at Riverside Park, Young Park, and Crestlawn Cemetery. The areas that have been earmarked for formal dedication planting with plaques are located at Riverside Park, north of Dahlia Lane, and at the Grand Pavilion.
Costs
The costs consist of the cost of the tree and planting (market price which varies with the tree species between $500 and $900); the plaque (market price), and a tree planting fee ($100), which goes to the Tree and Beautification Commission's fund.
