Public Records Law

Florida has a very broad Public Records Law. Most written communications to or from State and Local Officials and agencies regarding State or Local businesses are public records available to the public and media upon request. Your email communications, including your email address, may therefore be subject to public disclosure.

Mission Statement

The mission of the City Clerk is to record and maintain orderly and accessible records of all City Council meetings, discussions and other communications. Additionally, the City Clerk transcribes and maintains the records of all advisory commission activities as directed by the City Council. The City Clerk acts as the repository to preserve all official municipal documents in an efficient and dependable manner. All contracts with value in excess of $25,000 are maintained in the Clerk's files. Further, the City Clerk is the Supervisor of Elections for all City Referenda and Elections.
